In Tallahassee we have the FAPHCC lobbyist, Cam Fentriss, keeping a watchful eye on issues that concern the p-h-c industry. Fentriss, has 22 years practicing as a lawyer in the construction, healthcare and corporate realms. Fentriss, in cooperation with the FAPHCC Board, has established an aggressive State legislative agenda including: the critical issues of unlicensed activity and utility intrusion and ensuring an all inclusive plumbing scope. She also represents our association on the Construction Coalition, a group of construction lobbyists who work together when possible on issues affecting the industry as a whole.
Fentriss currently is in a legislative practice which represents clients before the Florida legislature and executive branch agencies concerning matters relating to professional regulation, health care, regulatory issues, and administrative law. Clients include corporate interests and four professional associations involving construction, health care, professional regulation, building codes, health program and facility regulation, workers’ compensation, and business issues.
Fentriss brings to FAPHCC her experience and connections from working for the Division of Corporations, Department of State in legal matters regarding all areas of jurisdiction and for the Senate Commerce Committee of the Florida Legislature.
Fentriss is also President of Building a Safer Florida and a member of various organizations including Florida Bar Association, Governors Club and United Businesses Association.
